![]() ![]() ![]() When compared to women, men are proportionately 216% more likely to search for the character “Jean Grey” or “Dark Phoenix”, 139% more into Elvira, 96% more into “Captain Marvel” and 53% more into “Princess Jasmine”. In the case of female visitors, they’re 76% more likely to search for “cowboy” (when compared to men), 68% more into “Michael Myers”, 53% more into “Harry Potter” and 34% more into the “Joker”. If you’re looking to dress up to attract the opposite sex (or the same sex as your case may be), our statisticians took a closer look at what costumes men or women prefer to search for. They break down the analysis even further: “Porn searches related to Halloween parties, orgies, sex, costumes and fantasies were all up on Halloween,” Pornhub writes in their (SFW) “Halloween Hotties” Insights post. In what seems especially Halloween-skewed, demand increased for Elvira and Michael Myers. (Yes, Elastigirl.) And searches for this sort of porn skyrocketed around Halloween. Costumes aren’t surprising, and some of the costumes on Pornhub’s most popularly searched-for list seem like old porn hat: nurse, pirate, teacher, maid, even nun (de Sade was ahead of his time with this).īut it appears that people are a great deal more character-specific in their searches-the most popularly costumed character pornography based on searches within Pornhub this year were for the likes of Harley Quinn, the Joker, Princess Jasmine, Batman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, and Elastigirl. I feel as though I’m revealing a certain naivete when I say it never occurred to me that seasonally thematic porn was a big thing. After a PR blast on the topic, my brain absorbed this information yesterday and kind of froze there. Pornhub compiled some Halloween-related statistics, then made them available in helpful chart form. ![]()
